> My stay started off great—the staff was friendly, and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. However, there were several issues that affected my experience. The room was only cleaned once during my stay, there was no shampoo or conditioner provided, and the shower door was barely hanging on.
The biggest problem came on my second-to-last night when the heating system alarm went off in the middle of the night. The heater shut down, leaving the room cold. I reported it in the morning, but when I returned after a full day out, nothing had been fixed. I had to request assistance again, and a technician worked in my room for two hours, constantly coming in and out, making it impossible to rest. In the end, they moved me five floors down for my last night, but the heating didn’t work there either. Once again, I had to wait for it to be repaired.
To add to the frustration, the new room also lacked shampoo and conditioner, had no blackout curtains (so I had to sleep with the building lights shining in), and didn’t have enough towels.
I understand that the hotel was fully booked, and the staff was doing their best under pressure—they were always kind and professional. However, the maintenance and housekeeping issues really need improvement. I hope management takes this feedback into account because the hotel has great potential.
