Do not book at this hotel
Arrived and was told that the pool was closed due to renovations. The hotel door was gross and falling apart! Went to get breakfast ( because it had it listed as a perk) and the staff asked me my room number and embarrassed me in front of 6 other guest saying “breakfast is not included in your stay!” This was never mentioned when I arrived! Never had any conversation about breakfast and if my son or I wanted breakfast in the morning there was a fee! After she embarrassed me I headed to the front and spoke with the office staff ( she was lovely, polite, and helpful). I asked her about breakfast and I was already on the verge of tears and she said no worries I have a voucher for you. I then asked if if they charge a fee why wasn’t this mentioned to us when we arrived, she said again, no worries it’s okay! Then I was getting a plate of food for my 18 year old son who was still in the room and as I was trying to leave AGAIN this employee spoke to me in such a vile manner, “ You may not leave this area with food!” I went back to our room got my son and told him to eat. The food was disgraceful and disgusting! I only had a bottle of apple juice. My stomach hurt from that stressful encounter! I paid $39.17 for arriving early and $73 for paying online at Hotel.com. The office staff was amazing, however that employee that works in the little kitchenette was absolutely awful! Just awful! I am really not sure how this hotel received a GOOD score, it was mediocre at best!
