We had a reservation with a 3:00p check-in. My wife and I decided to go early to do some sightseeing and visit some businesses we enjoy. Unfortunately my wife’s back was hurting and she could barely walk.
We had plans that evening and also the next day that were already booked. Usually if my wife can lay down for a few hours her pain is manageable for a while.
Rather than going home we decided to go to the hotel and see if we could get an early check in. If we couldn’t, we were just going to head home.
At the hotel I offered to pay for an unoccupied room from the previous night in order to get us in early.
No need , Rose, the wonderful employee at the front desk , went above and beyond to get us checked in early. She looked diligently for a room that was ready for us. She didn’t hesitate for second to try and get us in.
Needless to say , because of Rose , our stay was saved . We have stayed in about 100 hotels over the years including many comped suites in Las Vegas at very high end properties. None of them showed us the compassion that Rose did .
From now on when we travel , we travel l quite a bit, Residence Inn will be our first choice
