Dont even bother
Whole building reeked of weed, like really bad to the point that it was triggering my asthma. The non smoking rooms or “floor” was so potent with weed. Im so lucky i had my inhaler. The room did not have any shampoos or anything and the elevator was constantly broken. Kids and babies were crawling everywhere on the lobby floor at every hour.

CONDEMN THIS HOTEL
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I was not given the room I paid for and the rude lady at the front desk told me there was nothing they could about it. I asked to move to another room and she said there was no other rooms available, even though there was availability online to book that same day, so she lied. I was missing a smoke detector, a microwave, a pillow, blankets on both beds and a hair dryer. Was told there was nothing they could do about it because there were no extras anywhere in the hotel. There were cockroaches in the room. I killed 15+ during my stay. We had to put the trash in the hallway because it was infested with bugs. After 2 days, the trash was still in the hallway. No housekeeping during the stay. Hallways were dirty, smelled like mold and almost all the emergency exit signs were hanging broken from the ceilings. The room was full of rust, mold and stains everywhere. The front desk person named Dana or Dina was the rudest, most unhelpful employee of any company I have ever encountered. Save yourself the time, money, sanity and headache and stay ANYWHERE but here. I have reported them to corporate and will be reporting them to the BBB and the public department of health. Shut this place down IMMEDIATELY.

Do Not Stay Here
I would sleep in a car and feel safer and cleaner than this motel. I strongly believe this is a shelter, and there are people living here full time. I believe there is human trafficking taking place in here. The lady at the front desk told me if anyone was coming in to see me even if it were 5 minutes she needs their ID. Meanwhile an Ubereats guy walked right passed us into the elevator. I've never been told this before. my friend helped me bring up my luggage but she wouldnt let him in if he didnt show her ID. I asked if she required ID for my daughter also, I had no idea what this was all about. Because it is pet friendly it smells like dog pee in the lobby. and lots of scratch marks in the rooms everywhere. There was gum on the ceiling, boogers on the wall, roaches in the bathroom, no fridge, no cable, dark and dingy rooms, tv didn't work. sheets looked clean. I checked into this hotel at 3pm and returned my room key at 6pm because I could NOT stay here alone with my young daughter. She was already crying just sitting in the room. Not to mention the cleaning lady just walked right into the room without knocking, put the key in the door and walked right in. I was not expecting the Hilton but I definitely did not expect this. When I was coming in, a man was moving in all his clothes in containers and household items in the elevator. The many different characters I seen just in a few minutes of being here...just don't stay here. I would like a refund this place is disgusting.

You get what you pay for
Family decided to book a last minute weekend away. Pleased that the price was reasonable bordering on cheap, but quickly figured out why upon check in. Walls were filthy, and there were bugs in the bathroom and floor, which was sticky, and the overpowering smell of weed permeated throughout the entire building. Loud conversations outside woke us up, as well as someone deciding to ride a dirt bike all over the property. The only positive thing I can think of was a pleasant staff. This was our first and absolute last time ever staying here.

The floor had water coming from the broken fridge and I almost slipped. Then the bed sheets were unclean. There was residue and hair in the bath tub

Nightmare!
Upon arrival there was one person completing check ins. The other which I believe to be the Manager was just standing around. They were very rude and unprofessional and waited till we were done with the check in process to have us sign a waiver stating we could not ask for a refund if they lost power. The room was disgusting dust everywhere, piles of dust behind the bed, dirty sheets, roaches climbing on and around the microwave. We brought our own cleaning supplies and had to wipe down walls, clean the bathroom and wipe the floors with Clorox wipes. The floor was filthy! We booked a room with a fridge and microwave and they stated they could not guarantee a fridge would be in the room. Black mold in the vents and around the toilet. The hallway wreaked of marijuana and cigarettes and we booked a non smoking room. The front lobby was a hangout and the Manager was friendly with all the people just hanging around the front lobby area. I went down to request another pillow and blanket. As I was speaking to the front desk clerk who was very rude and began asking us if we had a pet with us and was refusing to give us another blanket, the Manager is asking from the back “what’s the problem” The manager came and snatched the blanket from her and brought us to the 2nd floor, gave me a balled up blanket. This is the worst service I have ever received in hospitality. I work hand in hand with hospitality on a regular basis as a state worker and this was unacceptable service.

Anywhere but HERE
Absolutely awful! We had to evacuate for the hurricane which means we took what we could get. I don’t even know where to start. If you want to check in early you have to pay $20.00. You are told you have to take your own trash out of the room or get charged $15.00. Asked for a first floor because of elderly people being unable to walk but they put you on other floors. Not to mention our room flooding in the middle of the night due to the hurricane and just being given a few extra towels. Staff walking around at 10pm the night of the storm asking you to sign a waiver that you won’t hold them responsible for any damages and if you don’t sign it you have to leave in the middle of a cat 3/4 hurricane making landfall. Not to mention the nasty German roaches everywhere. We had to go straight home and wash everything. This place was absolutely disgusting. Staff was incredibly rude, dogs barking all hours of the day because they won’t do anything about it until “quiet hours”. Pictures are VERY misleading.

Got pulled over leaving parking lot undee suspicion of attempting to purchase drugs or sex. Just in town to go to universal with extended family from out of town. Wanted an affordable place to stay, not a potential drug den or brothel. Left after only 2 hours.

First the good: The location is super convenient to Universal Studios. You can walk there from the hotel. Staff was courteous. no complaints there. The Bad: The rooms were SUPER dirty. nail clippings and hair from prior visitors on the floor, stains on the sheets. The floor was spongy like the AC unit in the room was leaking and rotting the floor. The hand held shower head was taped to an aluminum rod about 4 ft above the floor. This forced us to squat down to shampoo. Hookers, pimps and dealers hanging out in the parking lot. The ugly: The smell of weed almost covered up the smell of urine from animals and/or people. I will never stay at this location again. Visit at your own risk.

DISGUSTING
I’m not even joking if I could leave a zero I would. There is literally black mold in the rooms, dirty sheets, stains everywhere, the towels are dirty. There was literally an open used soap in the shower. I ended up buying bleach spray to clean my shower how sad is that. The smell of mildew, dog, weed, etc just permeates your nostrils… the toilet was dirty. I really was looking for a room for just the night and to be fair, would’ve rather just stayed in my car overnight. This is beyond. The floor is sticky. The walls are sticky. This is a health hazard.

Great location for universal basic clean friendly
Great location for universal studios. Basic hotel. Clean. Noisy air conditioning woke me up every time it went off the first night so suggest turning that off if you can cope with the heat. People live here I think but wasn’t an issue just something to know. Nice friendly reception staff. Was everything you expect from a 2 star hotel. Great price and great fast food eating and shops a short walk away we made use of Denny’s, chipotle, walgreens and ihop we walked yo universal from the hotel but there are buses and Ubers to use also.
