construction in Feb.
The hotel is in a great location right on the beach and it has it's own beach access. This side of the beach was less crowded than by the pier, but the pier was only about a 30 min casual walk away. The hotel itself is in definite need of repairs which they were working on while we were there. However, we were only told they'd be working while we were there a few days before our arrival date and it was a nonrefundable stay. We got an e-mail letting us know the pool and hot tub area would be closed and we should leave our balcony curtains closed to protect our privacy. That was very disappointing since I planned to spend my time at the hotel during the day while my husband worked. The first room we were given was on the first floor overlooking the pool. The balcony door was impossible to lock so we requested a safer upper floor. Our second room was much better with partial views of the ocean, though the balcony door was still very difficult to maneuver and lock. There was constant construction during the day and the construction materials were very visible from our room. They were even working on the 2nd elevator while we were there and maybe it will be up and running soon? Parking in Feb. '25 was $18 a day plus tax and breakfast was also $18. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of tv channels to choose from, and the internet worked well. The rooms were generally pretty quiet, though you could hear doors open I would consider staying here again.
