Check in was horrible. We waited in line to check in for 40 minutes. We were assigned a room with a swim out pool. Yeah, we could swim out to a teenie tiny pool that had a huge construction project going on literally 50 feet away, complete with worker bees, construction equipment, boom boxes. Was that room discounted because of the undesirable location? It was not. We were forced to upgrade for an additional $600 to get away from the noise and mess. Oh, and did I mention there was black mold in the ceiling? Our luggage never appeared in our room so I was forced to go in a scouting mission to locate it. So, suffice to say our day one was a complete bust. Once we upgraded, things got better. Most of our meals were good, the steakhouse was awesome. The staff was great with the exception of housekeeping. Out of our six day stay, our room got cleaned twice. Now, I can blame one no show because of the hurricane but the rest are hard to explain. With so many other wonderful resorts in Cancun, I doubt if we would go back
