After 11 hours of travel, we spent 5 hours going back and forth from our room to the front desk because our magnetic keys wouldn't work. When someone finally came to help us at 9:15 PM, we spent half an hour with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old daughters playing amidst screws, screwdrivers, and disassembled lock parts, furthermore, the door was left open for half an hour, and the room filled with mosquitoes, making the night impossible. The opening was never properly fixed, and no one came to check on it again. So, we spent the rest of our vacation asking staff or stopping porters passing by on golf carts to open the door for us with the master key. Alternatively, we left the window unlocked so we could climb through and open the front door from the inside in case of emergency (thank God we were at the ground follor) When we explained the situation to the front desk, the response was, 'so sorry, nobody's fault.'Never again Bahia Principe.Never again Grupo Pinero.
