Our stay at the Monte Carlo Inn Motel was less than ideal from the start. We checked in around 11:30 PM after a full day at Disney, which is well within their advertised 2 AM check-in window. However, the staff member on duty seemed rushed and informed us we “almost missed him,” implying he was about to leave early. Sure enough, he checked us in quickly and left, taping a phone number to the office door in case we needed anything.
Once inside the room, we immediately noticed the sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain properly. With no one on-site to assist, we were stuck with the issue for the night.
The most frustrating part? We were charged a $50 deposit upon check-in, which was never refunded. Despite reaching out, we received no follow-up or resolution.
Overall, this stay felt unprofessional and unreliable. Between the lack of customer service, maintenance issues, and the missing deposit, it felt more like a scam than hospitality.
