First the positives: The hotel was clean. The room was clean, and the man at check-in was friendly and professional. It was also an affordable stay.
However, the room felt extremely outdated. The furniture and carpet looked like they hadn’t been updated since the late 90s. Bathroom door needs repainting. The view from my window was awful, overlooking what seemed like demolished buildings, warehouses and industrial site.
Breakfast was very disappointing: dry omelets, sausage, and potatoes, canned-tasting fruit, and paper plates. Seating was limited, and although the staff kept things tidy, the quality was far below other Hampton Inn locations I’ve stayed at — especially compared to the ones in Jacksonville.
Checkout was frustrating too, with a long wait while the front desk staff was away restocking supplies.
I won’t be staying here again.
