We felt warmly welcome from the first moment as we stepped in to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and took good care of us, especially Martin!
Hotel is in the middle of most famous attractions. Lots of tourist crowds at the daytime, but we didn't mind. It was nice to sit by an open window and watch musicians, magicians and all kind of artists perform in the town square. When windows were closed, there was hardly any noise.
Famous astronomical clock was under a reperation and we didn't know that when we booked the hotel, but they upgraded us in a grand deluxe room, which was very nice! And there was a lively screen showing what the clock does.
Our room was very beautiful with nicely aged furniture, modern bathroom and a huge comfortable bed and lots of big pillows. Never sleeped better!
Breakfast at Cafe Mozart was quite ordinary, they had very good cakes and muffins though.
If you want a bit of luxury on your holiday, to feel like a king and queen and at the same time feel very cosy and homely, then Grand Hotel Prague is a place to go. Special thanks to Martin, he really is a shining diamond amongst all customer servants I've ever seen.
