Hotelli meren rannalla
When we arrived at Paradisus Punta Cana we were greeted by 4 pink flamingos in hotel lobby (small pond inside the lobby).That was great. Reception staff were selling us a Royal Service upgeade.First the price was over $800/ 9 nights extra, but in the end we got a discounted rate $600/ 9 nights/ 2 people. We bought it.Reception staff told us that with Royal Service upgrade we would get for example access to the adults only pool and bar,Royal Service lounge,Lapalapa restaurant and private beach area + top of the line alcoholic beverages. Room service was included also with no delivery fee (non-Royal Service guests pay $5 per delivery).Room service was 24/7. We were taken to the room by a golf cart shuttle.Our room was on a first floor with a balcony.Large and clean room. Only minus was the minibar.There were soft drinks and water, but only 2 beers.Would have been nice to have for example wine or small bottle of Dominican rum to make your own drink in the evening.
Shuttle service picked up and dropped off from in front of your building every 15 minutes.Private beach was really nice, white sand beach and comfortable sun chairs and sunbrellas.Adults only pool was awesome.Pool area had gorgeous pool cabanas.You had to be quick to get a cabana...we were by the pool at 7am and cabanas were reserved. Lots of activities (Michael Jackson show, Beach parties etc.). Several restaurants for food.A few times (3) when made a booking with reservations department,no booking was made.
