Upon arrival we got upgraded to a partial ocean view room on the 26th floor, and the room was very nice. Looked like it had just been refurnished. Beds were comfy, shower was ok, kitchenette had everything you need, nice big balcony with a table and chairs, you can see a tiny bit of the ocean but mostly the view was towards golf course the river. You do have to pay extra for everything, like 5$ for "upgrading your key card to work in the gym door", but I guess thats the Hawaii way to do it. Location is quite good, a short walk to the beach and main street area, and local bus goes nearby. There are both hotel guests and permanent residents staying in the building, which you do notice but it didn't disturb us. The pool area is large, but not too pretty. The pool is good. Gym is very very basic, but at least the equipment work well.
