Booked for our wedding anniversary, a well deserved stay for my wife and I and the first time we have been able to get away for some time.
When booking, the hotel messaged me and asked what time I would be checking in and also whether it was a special occasion, I replied letting them know the time and also that it was a special anniversary.
When we arrived we had a 10 min check in as there were queues and finally checked in and went up to our room.
Now maybe I’ve been fortunate with other hotels we have stayed for special birthdays or other anniversaries as they’ve usually done a little something extra to celebrate.
Not here, not even a member of staff wishing us a happy anniversary.
The hotel overall was presented ok, however the customer service was poor, the staff appeared to not want to be there and the hotel are really missing a trick as we certainly won’t return.
The hospitality industry is tough and hotels win and lose clientele by how they deliver service and this hotel is unfortunately one of the losers.
