The hotel room was really comfy and clean (maybe a bit to the small side), and the staff was extremely friendly. Everyone we interacted with also spoke good English! The hotel location is excellent for moving around in Paris, being close to the Opera metro station. There are a bunch of restaurants and a couple of general stores nearby, too. You can most likely get a taxi right by the opera if needed. The area is nice and calm in general as well, we barely got any noise in our room even with the window open.
There were only two minor downsides to the hotel. First was the door to the room. It was really tricky to open. Out of the three of us only my sister knew how to undo the lock. Secondly, the power outlets in the room had this weird extra part in them, preventing some chargers from being plugged in. (Luckily, our phone chargers got in fine! Photo attached).
This didn't bother us, but I should mention that the stairway was quite narrow, so if you have big luggage it might be problematic. There is a lift, but it seemed like it would only fit two people in at once.
We really enjoyed our stay. Even with the big riot going on on the main street a couple of meters away from the front door, the hotel felt really safe and comfy, and the staff was truly considerate and kind. I highly recommend staying at this location!
