I booked a non-smoking room for two nights, but after the first night, I had to change hotels due to air quality issues. When I woke up, both my father and I had extremely dry mouths and throats and couldn’t talk for about 30 minutes.
I spoke with the front desk and the manager, who insisted that this is a non-smoking hotel and offered to change our room. However, I could clearly tell that people were smoking (not cigarettes) inside the hotel, which made us very uncomfortable. Despite my concerns, the manager kept repeating that this was a non-smoking property.
Ultimately, I decided to check out early and move to a different hotel. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are sensitive to air quality.
