Let me begin by saying that we plan to stay here again. It was clean, great location, and quiet. Kind, attentive staff (via call/text). No on-site staff, though. Major inconvenience was the WiFi. We were there for 5 nights and it never worked. We had to leave and find somewhere with WiFi each day in order to work and it was def not ideal. Also, our had water under the vinyl flooring. We could hear the water sloshing and see it coming up between the planks when stepped on. After the first big rain I could see why- water was pooling outside our door (603). I contacted the front desk and they were VERY responsive. Sent someone that night to look at the WiFi and the flooring (and also fix a sink that was clogged with hair), but the only thing they actually fixed was the clog. Multiple staff throughout our stay told me they were contacting Spectrum about the WiFi but it was never resolved. The guys who came to fix everything acknowledged the floor water but said they weren’t sure what to do about it. Other than those issues, we really enjoyed it. Pool was nice. Location was super convenient. Def recommend visiting the Drift-In dive bar for karaoke (ask for Paul and read his book). Daiquiri Deck for happy hour. AMOB is nearby and staff/drinks/view were great, but food was NOT. Join The Moose before you go and use their bathrooms and food/drinks while on the beach. Beach Dog Island Essentials for beach chairs. Brunch at Slickers. Dinner at Bamboo Island. Can’t wait to go back.
