Our rooms, economy standards, were not like it was described in Hotels.com pages - no tv, internet or minibar. Also condition of the rooms was terrible, cheap and no clean windows. After complaining, staff changed us to better rooms that were actually ok, with all listed services and standard clean. Anyway, it took 1,5 hours, 8 staff members and a lot of stress to get solution - most of the talking in Latvian language - staff has limited English skills mostly.
And finally, just when we were leaving they charged us 67 € more, because of "better rooms". Really a final punch. The reason was that our room were better than we ordered - true, but they has wrong info at the beginning in their room description. And no mention for this when they agreed to change our rooms.During all this stressful process, in our holiday, there was no word "sorry" or any kind of apologies from the hotel staff. This is not good service today - a customer should feel welcome at their hotel. Not just a milking cow.Ah, by the way there is no Spa, under construction. Anyway, beautiful Jurmala beach is quite near, 5 minutes walking.
