Nanjing Hotel Shanghai - Excellent LOCATION
If you are looking for a hotel, where you would like to spend some time and has an easy access while visiting Shanghai, then choose Nanjing Hotel Shanghai!
The hotel might not be the best in the city, but defenately the price/quality relation is really good.
The hotel staff had been really helpful and they did speak good english. The room cleaners did a good job to keep the room clean and fresh. They also did boil tap water every day so clean water was available all the time. There is a water boiler available in the room if you need to enjoy your 12 o'clock tea.
Unfortunately the room did not have a mini bar available, but there are shops available just next to the hotel entrance.
The toilet/shower room worked fine and we did have plenty of hot water available.
Our hotel room windows were facing the alleys of Shanghai, which gladly suprised with its' quietness.
We were staying at the Nanhing Hotel eight days during Shanghai World Expo 2010 and we did enjoy the central location of hotel.
The central shopping district is just behind the corner and I do really mean behind the corner: 20 meters from the hotel entrance. If you want to use the public transpotation, the nearst metro station is located in 40 meters from the hotel entrance.
I can recommend this hotel to people who don't need four or five star hotels!
