Nice hostel in the heart of Old Quebec
We stayed one night at a double bed ensuite room and were really happy with it. The location is perfect in the centre of the old Quebec. The room was nicer than we expected from a hostel room - wooden floors, old furniture, wide window sills and thick curtains. The bathroom was new, clean and spacious. We also had a fan in our room. The only minor complaint that I can think of is that the floor in our room was really squeaky, but that is the price you pay for the old building's charm. There were also quite a few stairs and corridors, but as we travel light it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was included to our room price. There was at least cereal, porridge, toast, bagels, mini muffins, bananas, apple sauce, coffee, juice and boiled eggs, so quite enough - the only thing we missed was youghurt. The common areas were nice and full of character and there were people from all age groups staying at the hostel. If you want to leave your luggage to the storage room, remember to bring your own padlock. We did not have one, so bought it from the reception (4,5 CAD).
