This hotel has a central location: we walked to the colosseum, Vatican etc. Traffic sounds aren't bothering you at all thanks to sound-proof windows on 4th floor.
Staff was nice, especially Jessica was very helpful overall.
The rooms: room 202A was a quite big room with three french type balconies. They should however fix the jacuzzi's drain because it wasn't water proof and we had to keep the water running constantly in order for
the water level not to sink. Also the glass door to the bathroom touched the bathroom floor everytime it was opened (not enough space between the door and the floor).
Now the biggest problem was the interior decoration: dark and grey with red pillows, and was therefor giving us angst and anxiety. So we wanted a new room, and Jessica was nice enough to make this happen. We got room 202B: smaller, but the interior design was much better, white and light colors with one french balcony. Both rooms had a nice view.
Breakfast was very good and you got to choose from many different options and was brought to the room every morning at the time of your choice.
They also served free wine before dinner time, a nice little plus.
Cleaning almost always felt a bit half-done: sometimes the garbage can wansn't emptied, sometimes the "dirty" sheets were on the floor, even
though they had made our bed.
Good: location, staff, sound-proof rooms, breakfast. Bad: room 202A interior decoration (easily fixable though), room 202A jacuzzi, cleaning.
