The room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable and the room had a nice, modern bathroom with hot water, even if the water pressure in the shower wasn't that great. The lights and the fan in the bathroom were switched on by a motion sensor, which was somewhat irritating when I just wanted to wash my hands and then had to listen to the loud fan for several minutes afterwards.
The small fridge in the room came in handy when I wanted to store some snacks and drinks. The breakfast that was included in the price wasn't anything spectacular, prepacked toast with marmalade and prepacked chcocolate cornettos that were probably as unhealthy as they tasted. The coffee was good though, as was the joghurt and juice that appeared in the fridge every day.
Maison Colosseo is located on the ground floor of the building and my room had a window facing the street outside - a quiet residential street with little motor traffic, but the windows and shutters did nothing to block the voices of passersby. If you are a light sleeper and noises bother you, bring ear plugs.
All in all, Maison Colosseo was a positive experience, well located, good quality room with reasonable price.
