The hotel is small and looks nice. About three minutes walk to the start of main street, couldn´t be much more central. The rooms don´t have numbers but names after famous people, which was a nice, original touch. We stayed at the Isaac Newton suite, which was a bit rundown, but nothing serious. No elevator here, didn´t bother us at all but just so you know. Breakfast was magnificent, wonderful fresh fish, meats, salads etc. Eggs made to everyones liking and a brewed teapot of your choice or coffee. Staff was very friendly indeed and spoke perfect english. We stayed three nights in december 2015. Only problem was noice, and I don´t usually complain about this. First on the second night before midnight, some young guys set off some extremely loud firecrackers on the street beneath our window. We nearly had a few heart-attacks. This was not the hotels fault of course, but the following was. On the last morning at 7.50 they started to drill through concrete apparently in the building. Extremely loud noise. Whadda you gonna do. All-in-all, can recommend.
