Nice hotel at almost the best possible location
Hotel itself is quite moderate and the room very small, but there was all we needed and everything worked as supposed. We had a double room, and it had very good and large bed, which I think is the most important one in a hotel room when you spend 15 nights in it. Also bathroom was neat and spacious. However, there was not much space left for other things, so we had to keep our luggage on the floor, but it was not so bad. The most important equipment: free internet (LAN, no Wifi), mini fridge (no minibar), water boiler (funny little induction cooker but served its purpose), electric toilet seat, TV. Staff was friendly and able to speak English. Breakfast was not included but we ended up having it almost every morning because it was so lovely traditional Japanese breakfast and not too expensive. The location is ideal: just around the corner from Ueno station. Just far enough from main street so that the neighbourhood is peaceful but still close to everything. It is easy to come from Narita airport with Keisei line directly to Ueno, and further, Ueno station has an easy access to every direction. Also there are lots of sightseeing and shopping nearby, including Ueno park and Asakusa. All in all, if you do not require luxury hotel, but just a nice and cozy place to rest in between your adventures in Tokyo, I can highly recommend this hotel both for leasure and small budget business travel.
