The hotel itself is excellent, staff is professional, cleaning is prompt and top notch, has free parking, the pool is fresh and there's a nice and lush yard behind a wall next to it for just relaxing. Breakfast was abundant and should cover every taste. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't try it. Walk into downtown/old town is around 20-40min, and there's a bus stop about 5min walk from the hotel as well.
During our visit (june '23), the seaside road leading to, and in front of the hotel was under heavy renovations though, which wasn't apparent upon booking. Getting to the free parking or indeed the hotel itself can't be done by trusting google maps, so if you're arriving with a car, call the hotel before even trying and they'll guide you. It also means the immediate area outside the hotel isn't the nicest to stroll around. This is the reason why I marked the surroundings as "disappointing" -- when the seaside is back in order, it should prove to be very nice.
