Rooms are big compared to many others in Singapore, plenty of space. But they are old and worn out. The floor felt really dirty, the material was not suitable for hotel use. The permanently mounted shower head was installed too low and pointed to the wall. It was almost impossible to shower. The bath tub was old and looked dirty. Only 20% of the water came out the shower end and most went into to the tub. There was a large closet in the room but the inside of it smelled awfull. Bed was large ond ok, sheets looked clean. We got new towels daily. The aircon unit was old and not very efficient. It made a terrible noice but could keep the room at decent temperature. The noice made sleeping difficult, but it was better than the heat. The swimming pool was nice but only 1 m deep. There old bar had been closed ages ago by the pool and the toilets beside it were in terrible shape. The lifts were new and worked very well. We were supposed to get free coffee and bottled water daily but we only got those on the first day. Free wifi did not work in every part of the room, but it was ok. The surrounding area is full was full of shops, restaurants and bars. We walked from the closest MRT station and it was not too far away.
