Cleveland hotel was very conveniently located within walking distance from Paddington railway station. There were also other 3 tube stations near, so you have easy access to transportations, including some buses. You can even walk to Portobello road market street. Near the hotel is a lively street with restaurants and some shopes. The hotel is on a quiet street, so no traffic noice. The hotel is alittle worn out, but it was clean, so it did not bother. Our room was good size, had a little kitchenet with microwave and refridgerator. OK for making toast etc. but not really for cooking meals. Pans would have been available in reception. Free wifi worked well. There is an elevator, but you need to walk some stairs anyway. Only minus was that you can hear all noices from the neighbourg. We were unfortunate to have a really noicy Italian family in the next room, and had to ask them to keep it down. But that was not the hotels fault. If you are a light sleeper, earplugs come handy. I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a basic hotel and well functioning place to stay. The staff was very friendly and to our pleasant surprise, we got access to our room already when we arrived in the morning. Might stay there again when travelling to London on private occation, not business.
