HOTEL RESERVATION and CHECK-IN SERVICES
(1) The hotel reservation via eBookers did not match my request: instead of ONE WEEK I had been booked for ONE DAY. The efforts to make a change did not work.
(2) Before my trip my two (2) emails to the hotel did give a funny impression. The first was replied by the Gran Hotel de la Paix that I can come in early - my arrival time to Bs.As. was 04:30 - and get my room free to use. Then the second emails reply from the hotel says that this "early arrival and room availability" is not possible.
I HAD TO STAY IN TOWN from 04:30 and wait for the eBOOKERS CONFIRMATION LETTER indicated check in time 12:00 HOURS. The around 2 pm. on Nov 17 I called and asked about the earliest check-in time - Señor DIEGO - at the hotel telephone service said that I cannot come before 3 pm.
WHAT?!?!?
Arrival to the hotel abt 4:30 pm and I asked for this situation. They had no reply ... and I did not get any offers for compesation for this VERY VERY LATE - and not compatible with the eBOOKERS information - check-in time.
