I chose this newer hotel over the Hampton next door, expecting better amenities. Here's a summary of my experience.
Positive aspects: The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway with a nearby shopping center, though not within walking distance. The hotel's appearance is satisfactory, and the staff was pleasant. We booked two spacious and comfortable suites.
However, the drawbacks are significant:
a) There are no USB ports in the room, which is inconvenient for charging devices.
b) The free Wi-Fi didn't work throughout our stay.
c) The television wasn't a smart TV.
d) On the second day, water pressure dropped completely in both rooms as my family prepared for a funeral.
e) I witnessed the elevator door closing on another guest without reopening upon contact, requiring intervention.
f) I found an exposed outlet near the headboard with the lamp's plug loosely hanging, posing a safety hazard.
g) After resolving the water pressure issue, the faucet began dripping continuously.
h) The ice maker produced ice that seemed to contain a cleaning agent, making our drinks undrinkable.
These issues, along with broken outlet faceplates, reflect poorly on a hotel only four or five years old.
Consequently, I cannot recommend staying here.
