The location of the hotel was great, very nice area with no tourists. I recommend to explore the area around the hotel, nice restaurants and a lot of great stores the locals use, so also very cheap! Next to the hotel there is a great little bakery where you can get fresh bread, croissants and delicious pastries.
The room was nice and very clean, good AC, nice bathroom, TV and fridge. But for an aparthotel very little stuff. We would have liked to cook, but there was no spatulas, ladels or knives except for the utensils. Also the pans and pots were full of burnt food, so we thought it was better to eat out.. Still we are very happy we chose this hotel, we walked almost everywhere, even to the beach, but that is a long walk so if you don't like to walk, take the metro.
The easiest way to get to the hotel is to take the airportbus to Placa de Catalunya and then take the tram to stop Gracia, the street Maria cubi is directly where you get up from the Gracia station, just a few blocks walk to the hotel.
Barcelona is a great city to walk in, but the metro and tram is also very convenient and 10 tickets only cost 10.30!
