Room availability took too long
Arrived three quarters of an hour after check in time, was advised the room would be ready in ten minutes, fifteen minutes later another member of staff advised us the room would be ready in ten minutes. I told them we had already been waiting fifteen minutes, at which point I was told he had spoken to housekeeping himself and they had said ten minutes. We were offered on both occasions a free drink.
Fifteen minutes later the room became available.
This meant we had to wait half an hour.
On check out I was advised that I had been marked down as a no show, the helpful receptionist corrected the error and apologised for the inconveniences of yesterday’s wait and the error on the system.
Both receptionist yesterday were apologetic but I feel that the waiting time was unacceptable
