I stayed 3 nights this time. Previously I have stayed in this hotel at least 8 times in the last 10 years. I was disappointed to find that the service in this legendary hotel is getting worst. It use to be my very favorite hotel in Shanghai. This last time I notice that: 1- Less and less staff actually speaks or understand English. 2- Food quality is getting worst. Very bad actually in what I received as room service. 3-Cleaning lady missed to keep the bathroom clean and with toilet paper during my stay. Anyway on the good side the rooms are still ok. and the hotel is located in an excellent place conveniently located 100 mt from Metro station, several (very many) restaurants, bars and shopping centers around. I can still recommend it, but just don't expect excellence.
