Poor Stay
They only had 1 valet person working. There were no luggage carts. The whirlpool room I was put in was nothing like the site photos. The bed was not comfortable, there was no headboard so I was unable to sit up in the bed because of artwork they have on the wall. No tv in the bathroom as advertised on the site. Asked the front desk if any were available and she didn't know because they have no log of what rooms have what in them. Water that you can get at the barely stocked Dollar General was $3 a bottle. Had to ask for towels from the front desk because housekeeping didnt speak English nor understand the word "towel". The vents were filled with dust and the light bulbs were mix matched. The handicap button for the door outside dosent work. The fireplace in the bathroom does not blow out heat. The toilet handle had to be held down in order to flush. The pillows were extra flat and very uncomfortable. When checking out i went to the lobby for a luggage cart and again none were available, informed they only had 3 for the entire 8 story hotel and they share with the hotel next door. An employee came to my room with a blue laundry cart and expected us to put our luggage in it. There is only 1 ice maker on the 6th floor but no signs to let guest know that. The rooms have no microwaves. For this to be a Hilton, it was very poor and poorly managed. I will never stay at another Hilton unless its a Secrets Resort. I feel like the photos were false advertisements.

Wouldn't stay here again
We showed up to the hotel and nobody was at the front desk to greet us where we waited hoping someone would show up, finally they did. They don't clean/refresh the rooms daily and I was told if it's over 2 days I need to call them and let them know even though we only have enough towels, coffee in the room for one day. The interior courtyard was loud at 5am. Wifi kept going in and out, so if you're working, its a nightmare. We called down to the front desk and a couple times it rang endlessly. Not sure what is going on there but the place is a mess. Never again.

Christmas disappointment
Disappointed with this hotel . There was a staff shortage. I had to use the same 2 towels for 4 days . The sheets were not clean and the pillow cases smelled of smoke .i was moved to another room which was smaller but the towel situation was the same .

It was OK
Historical building thats been renovated. However, being in the heart of city made for sleepless nights hearing siren after siren on thr 5th floor. Room was ok but bed was terribly uncomfortable. Subway tiles in shower were dirty with pink/orange mold. Door to room was so slow to close you had stand there and ensure it closed. No microwave and the low 20° cold air seeped into the room. Be advised, the shower tub is very high and even for me 5'7" was scary to get in and out of. Valet parking is $42 per night but seemed more logical due to other parking options and charging fees. There is a restaurant there (dont recommend) and coffee shop (do recommend). Overall...not terrible (could be worse) but really not worth what we paid 2 nights.

Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, toilet was unstable and shook every time you sat on it. Seemed very old and outdated compared to a room we stayed in a few months ago.

How it should be done
This hotel is how an older building should be modified for a hotel . I have stayed at other hotels downtown in several cities and normally extremely small rooms and high prices and outdated amenities. This hotel was perfect blend of our work charm and modem day peeks blended into one. Oversized room in our corner suite and nice size jetted tub in a 1950s style marbled tile finished around the double vanity and tub it self. Very comfortable bed and bedding . And HVAC was easily controlled and easily handing the bigger rooms

Great location & pleasant personnel
We had an excellent experience at the Cincinnatian. Everyone we encountered was as pleasant and helpful as they could’ve been. Perfect location for downtown Cincinnati! (Only problem was bathroom lights were very dim!) we will be back!

AC was very loud and squealed in the room. The toilet leaked water all over the bathroom. I told the front desk about the leak before we left for our event, we got back and there had clearly been someone in our room since the soaked toilet water towels were moved but the toilet still leaked. We were also told there was 24/7 valet at check-in but when we got back to the hotel between 10-11p we were told there was no valet and had to park down the block.

When I arrived I was told there was $100 a night incidental ($300 deposit on arrival) theres nothing on the website and/or there app. $50/$100 I get but that was just an unknown inconvenience for a weekend trip.
The hotel was nice and clean in a good spot for dinning and fountain square events.

For the price I have expected a much nicer well maintained hotel. The bathroom door was broken in our room, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. There were drug addicts passed out right outside the door every time we left the building. We travel often and this has been one of the worst stays, for the amount paid.
