The room itself was okay, but housekeeping never serviced it during my entire stay. I tried calling the front desk numerous times over two days, but the phone just rang with no answer. I eventually had to walk down to the front desk just to request fresh towels. It was very odd that no one ever answered the phone.
On top of that, I was shocked by the $55 plus tax daily parking fee. When I booked through Hotels.com, this charge wasn’t clearly mentioned. At check-in, the front desk told me I could speak to the manager about it, but the manager was never available, and as mentioned, no one ever answers the phone.
The total parking cost ended up being nearly the same as the room itself, which is unreasonable. When I brought this up, the staff just said they were the cheapest on the street since other hotels charge $75. Honestly, it shouldn’t cost that much to park anywhere, especially when you’re already paying to stay at the hotel.
Overall, for a Hilton Garden Inn, the experience felt overpriced and poorly managed.
