Savannah

Savannah is a great city to explore on foot, and one of the best places for a stroll is River Street. Running along the Savannah River, the street is bordered by 19th-century cotton warehouses, which have been lovingly restored and now house antiques shops, pubs, and restaurants.

You can also take a riverboat cruise, a great way to see the city. Savannah is home to the Savannah College of Art and Design, and arts are integral to the city’s character. Sample some culture at the SCAD's Lucas Theatre, which stages music, drama, and the annual Savannah Film Festival.
