The Haitian Heritage Museum is a cultural destination highlighting art, artefacts, music, film, and more from the Haitian community. Established in 2004 in Miami to commemorate Haiti’s Bicentennial, the museum serves as a mecca for the Little Haiti community here and abroad and welcomes people from all backgrounds.
The Haitian Heritage Museum is the only museum of its kind in the United States. The museum’s mission is to feature and maintain Haiti’s rich heritage and culture internationally, nationally, and locally. Since its inception, the museum has presented enriching programming that showcases the contributions of Haitians and Haitian-Americans to art, business, literature, and more.
