Our family (two parents and two adult children) stayed in this hotel for five nights at the beginning of July in room 110. The view was on the roof of another part of the building and a construction site (so nothing pretty, but OK). The room was big with a double bed for two persons and a bunk bed for two more. Our major complaint about the room was the air conditioning system. Overall, it was new and efficient. However, some time each night it reset itself to some central setting. The major struggle was the TV (where we wanted to watch EURO 2024). The TV has an Android TV system and according to in-room instructions and the answer from the reception, it should have an installed app to watch the local channels. However, the app was not there and we could not install it ourselves as it required a Belgian phone number. Luckily, we had a couple of technical people in the family, so we were able to load our home country TV app and watch the football with our home country commentator. However, after turning off the TV, it was clearing all the settings, so we had to do 5 minutes of logging in and app installations every time we wanted to watch something. This is the first time for us when the hotel TV does not have local programs.
The breakfast was very poor. Very small choice of foods and some strange options (but maybe they are typical for Belgium or Flanders, we don’t know).
