I stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Orlando Theme Parks/Lake Buena Vista from December 25th to January 10th, and although the hotel's structure is excellent, with a well-equipped gym, a pleasant pool, and comfortable common areas, some aspects left much to be desired.
The breakfast, although offered, becomes repetitive and boring quickly. The dining area is too small for the number of guests, causing lines and disputes over tables. In addition, the reduced hours force guests to wake up early, even while on vacation.
Another negative point was the charge for parking without offering vehicle insurance. I found this absurd.
The room cleaning also left something to be desired. The maids limited themselves to making the bed and did not perform a complete cleaning of the bathroom.
Unfortunately, I had the experience of forgetting a watch at the hotel and was unable to recover it as I did not receive a response to my calls and emails. The lack of an efficient communication channel with guests is a major problem.
In summary, TownePlace Suites by Marriott Orlando Theme Parks/Lake Buena Vista has a great structure, but the service leaves much to be desired. I recommend that the hotel management invest in improvements to the breakfast, room cleaning, and communication with guests.
