Many positives & a couple of minor-ish complaints
The hotel seemed modern and clean. Staff were all friendly and housekeeping was on point. The location was excellent for us and it was quick and easy to get to anywhere we wanted with Grab rides.
The gym was small - could be tight if your timing is unlucky but we only saw one or two people there on the days that we went. We were glad to see, in addition to the more common equipment, pairs of dumbbells up to 25 kg which is not as common in hotel gyms.
The breakfast was alright and nothing to complain about in the hotel's price range, but we hoped for some more variety, especially with the Vietnamese dishes. Most of the breakfast seating inside are bigger tables shared with others while the terrace seating is right next to the busy traffic, meaning there is no private or quieter seating option which may or may not bother you.
Our original room was on the fifth floor and its window facing out to Đ. Nguyễn Văn Thủ. The traffic noise leaked into the room which was tolerable - we were not expecting silence. On our second night there was unbearable construction work noise from the time we came back at 10 PM until 5:30 AM, non-stop. I asked to change rooms the following morning and the friendly staff handled it, no fuss. The second room was on the same floor but facing the "backside" of the hotel to the southwest. We did not hear anymore bothersome noise. Both rooms were standard rooms which are very small without much space to open luggage.
