Nice rooms with some hiccups
The rooms are nice and big. You can tell it's a newer hotel and the amenities are in great condition. The resort area is sweet and has a nice casual vibe without feeling too degenerate. Although it's also fair to say the casino/resort maybe lacks identity compared to the famous Strip hotels.
Location is fine - 20 min easy walk to the strip. Most people won't want to do this in the heat tho, I personally enjoyed it.
The hiccups:
85% of the rooms (I asked) come with the door that connects it to the next room. Said door has terrible noise cancelation, meaning that you might as well be in the same room with your neighbor. I have no idea why hotels do this. If you polled 100 people, maybe 5 of them would want to stay in an adjoining room. Making 85% of rooms like this is ridiculous, especially when the doors are so poorly planned.
I actually changed rooms because of this, as I couldn't work or sleep from the noise. The new room was much more quiet and GREAT value for the money. Neither room was very clean though. The second room had filthy towels with suspicious and smelly brown stains in them. I ended up drying myself in a tiny hand towel.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for a once in a lifetime Vegas trip - it lacks identity and is a bit too far off the Strip. But on a weeknight deal, it's nice value for money.
