Not great.
OK, the location first. The hotel is right in the heart of Old Delhi, opposite the Jama Masjid. The whole area is completely congested and noisy, probably more than I thought it would be . That said, we had no problems getting around. The tuk tuks were very useful here.
On to the hotel. The pictures paint a different story to reality. We arrived early morning to find at least 6 people asleep around reception, which shocked us a little bit. We had booked 2 X deluxe rooms but I am pretty sure one of them was not.
One major disappointment was that the rooftop cafe had closed down. This was one of the reasons for us booking here as we could spend time on the roof relaxing but in the end this wasn't possible as it was dirty up there.
In my view this isn't really a hotel well suited for foreigners. It has the potential to be a lot better.
