They may double charge you & refuse to refund!!!
We booked this hotel at the last minute on our way to Biloxi. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice hotel, but it wasn’t worth being charged TWICE for it! We booked through Hotels.com & PAID for the room. When we got to the hotel, they asked for a card for incidentals, no problem. THEN the guy at the counter said he needed $110 for the room-Hotels.com charged closer to $150, so go through Hilton’s site for a better rate! I told him I had already paid & he argued with me telling me that it was just holding the room.The next morning, we talked to their account person, nice lady, & she told me she fixed it. Wellll…she took $110 off of one card, BUT charged it back to my incidental card! Nothing should have been charged to that! I called Hilton-no help! I called the hotel directly-no help! They told me my “card was accidentally charged for another room and they couldn’t do anything unless the other people paid for the room!” Said they would call back-they haven’t. Should have a refund-I don’t! Unless you wanna pay double, stay somewhere else!
