When I booked Twin Island I fell in love with pictures of the beautiful views. I read this "resort" was across the island from where all the action was but a 15min ride didn't sound bad. We were SO wrong. Nusa Lembongan doesn't have taxis, and if you plan to rent a scooter this will be quite the trek and scary at night as it's very isolated. We chose not to have scooters because we wanted to drink, and also wifi is HORRIBLE here so we didn't want to risk getting lost. When we arrived on the ferry, the ferry shuttle dropped us off at an office for all the diving excursions (not inviting at all- no hotel front desk area). Once you get your room key you're left to fend for yourself. The resort doesn't have a working phone number, or at least one that anyone answers. In your room there is no phone, so if you need anything you're lucky to find a staff member walking around. Since this island doesn't have taxis to call, you have to rely on restaurants that offer free shuttles to people dining at their establishment and they'll come get you. Twin Islands has no shuttle, and is useless all around. Our first night we went out to dinner and then to a bar - it was such a pain trying to get a ride back to this resort we ended getting a second hotel room to sleep in then came back in the morning! The staff didn't bring us breakfast when we ordered it, and the manager named Kip is just straight rude. You can find better on this island if you're not a diver! That's all they care about!
