The hotel is well situated, beautiful green space, nice size pool and large enough rooms. However, the owner seems to forget that the hotel is in the Caribbean so it is pretty much a sauna under the hot sun during the Summer months. The generator is shut off during the day until 6 PM, so you will have no cooling until then. Worse, a lady (perhaps the owner's wife or girlfriend) got into a heated argument with one of the guests who were complaining about the heat. That quickly took a turn for the worse, when she escalated the issue and turned it into a physical altercation. In my many years of travel, I have never seen a hotel staff hit a guest before, now I have. The hotel has a lot of potential, but they need to run the generator 24hrs a day and they need a staff who won't hit a guest for standing up for their rights. Wishful thinking? Maybe. But until they do both, I will personally stay away.
