The hotel is right in the middle of the square, which means a taxi cannot drop you off and you must be dropped off some ways away with luggage to make your way to the entrance. This is a daunting task, especially for elderly travelers or those traveling with young children.
The check-in process was lengthy and frustrating, especially after a long-day of travel. It required an app to be downloaded and independent filling in off information, including passport numbers, etc., all while in the tiny and crowded reception area.
We arrived on a Thursday around 11pm. The music coming from the on-site restaurant and the Square itself was nonstop and deafeningly LOUD! Our room was on the 3rd floor and it felt like the DJ was in our room.
The rooms were otherwise clean and spacious for Europe.
I would not recommend this hotel for families or anyone who wants to sleep. If we had to stay more than one night, I would have had to find alternate accommodations.
