Stressful stay
Stressful would be the one word I would use to describe our stay here.
There was a problem somewhere, so I spent the afternoon of our arrival calling different numbers trying to get our entrance code, and in the midst of it, I stupidly paid an odd extra charge that still hasn't been cleared up with the hotel.
The entrance is tricky to find, you literally have to make the bed, there is not even toilet paper or handsoap. The beach is not as close by as they'd like you to think. You can hear everything from the hallway, especially all the kids running around. There is little privacy as your next door neighbour is right there, and the whole place feels like a cheap apartment complex (or possibly some sort of care centre). Can't say much for cleanliness either, as there was a huge spider and its web in our salad bowl.
A fire alarm went off late on our second night and we had to evacuate, though no fire truck ever came. The look on the personnel's faces suggested it may be a common occurrence. We got up at very early on the morning of our departure to cook breakfast and clean after ourselves, as not only did you have to strip the bed, wash the dishes and take the trash out, you also needed to do it by ten o'clock.
And we paid nearly 130e per night for this fun.
