The good and the bad
The first impression was not good as we arrived and realized that there was not any parking space in front of the hotel and we had to leave the car on a busy lane just in front of a crossroads. The hotel should definitely reserve 2 parking spaces with traffic cones and a chain for guests who check in as it´s done in many other places to ensure a safe handling of luggage. It wouldn´t hurt if there was someone who helped with the luggage either. To add insult the injury, the receptionist first talked for about 5 minutes on the phone and when she hung up she asked us to wait again and not in a really friendly tone. Tedious 40 minutes later after me finding a spot for the car 200 meters away while the rest of the family looked after the luggage, checking in and entering the room and finding a remote control having a dead battery, running back downstairs to fix it we were really tired and wondered whether it would be like this for the whole time. Luckily the room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet and it had the amenities needed for a holiday so it offered a very good value for the money. The wifi worked most of the time but required logging in every 15 minutes which was too short for example if you are posting something on the net and you lose the connection you have to start over again. It wouldn´t be too much to ask if it was extended to 30 minutes. Also it feels a bit insecure to have to give one´s passport number to log in on the internet.
