The most beautiful beach and pool decor ever
Mövenpick offers free airport tranportation from Caticlan airport. Super polite transfer staff.
The location is not on White Beach but another beach further north. That was great as White Beach seemed busy and crowded. The hotel offers hourly shuttle to DMall at White Beach till late at night.
The best thing of the hotel is the dreamlike beautiful pool and beach area, the most beautiful I have ever seen. The decor - pool and beach beds, chairs and sofas are super attractive as can be seen from my photos. There was always space to get a great spot (but the hotel was not full as it was not fully open yet). I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
Also, the attractive pool area is bordering the breakfast and main restaurant. Breakfast good but coffee and tea slow to come.
Standard rooms had pretty colors but relatively small. Great view from a seaview room. Good quality bed linen and towels.
Rooms are not sound-proof so there is some noise from other guests. Also, the door locks make a ringing sound when opened and heard in other rooms.
When I was there the hotel construction was not fully finished and e.g. no elevator yet operational in the standard rooms building. This is surely soon dealt with.
When I gave comments on some issues that I had the issues were very well taken care of.Polite staff overall.
Considering the price and location, this is the place to stay if one wants to avoid the crowded White Beach area and enjoy a beautiful beach and pool area.
