The location was very good just a couple of min. walk from the Zocalo. The staff was friendly. The room I found on the good size for 1 person just need of some upgrade. I do have to state however, that the mattrass was very hard and the resting was not all that comfortable. Another minus point was definately the shower. Water yes and even warm if one waits a while. But. The shower didnt work w/o pulling a DIY metal hook that was attached to the tub. Not at all comfi. I cant imagine it to be expensive to repair properly. As stated in previous posts, the tv brings more stress than relaxation with the constant 'snowing' on the screen. The door of the room was clacking by the whatever move of air was going on outside of the room. I did not feel unsafe at all but it was noisy. I kept my big back pack against it to keep the door still. Also the "Continental breakfast" was more miserable one I have ever encountered with during my now 11 month travels in the country. Two toast crackers with an individually packed butter and strawberry jam, cup of plain coffee (no tea options for no coffee drinkers nor milk) a cup of conventional juice. On top of this everything was served with plastic, styrox utensils.
All in all I stayed here for 4 nights, booking 1 additional out of a mere lazyness. I would not stay here again. Just to keep in mind that a lot of times one gets more value and even quality by booking a private in a hostel instead of 2-3 star hotels.
