On Hotels.com I had booked 2 nights stay, received email confirmation regarding my 2 nights stay. After the first night I was busy attending to my child dance competition when I get a call from the hotel at 12:40PM asking when I was checking out. I told them I had booked 2 night but they insisted their computer only showed I was booked for 1 night. After running back to the hotel, the lady at the desk was no help, telling me they were fully booked but could offer me a suite (probably for a higher price). Luckily a gentleman (management) was present and was able to sort everything out offering me a different room at the same rate I had booked. The lady at the desk had no interest at looking at my confirmation email and continued to insist I was wrong and that I was at fault!
Comfort Inn computer system was at fault but aren’t customers always right?! Why would I lie about staying another night? Especially when I had the confirmation email at hand?!
Thank you to the gentleman (management I am guessing) for fixing everything at the end.
