The receptionists of this hotel were among the best I have ever encountered during my lengthy experience of travelling. They know how to handle people. I arrived tired quite late, after 10 P.M., and asked for a glass of water. The receptionist offered me a pint of water from the "barrel" in the hall. The receptionist also informed me so convincingly about the bus trips to the Curonian Spit and Nida, that I really took the trip next day. - My room was good. The breakfast was excellent and it could be eaten in an outdoor terrace. - But nothing is perfect: the shower head was "firm-coded" in the bathroom wall, and I could never figure out the acrobatics that would have been needed in order to get your different parts truely clean (and didn't dare to ask anyone).
